Latest Climate Crisis Charade

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has announced the launch “World War Zero,” a star-studded coalition of former heads of state and Hollywood figures dedicated to advocating for solutions to climate change.

The forthcoming organization’s website states their chief objective is to mobilize resources to tackle global warming.

Kerry, former Secretary of State under Obama, has recruited former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter and former Republican governors John Kasich and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hollywood A-listers such as actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Ashton Kutcher, and rocker Sting. Over 60 people are said to have signed up for the coalition.

Kerry said in an interview with the New York Times “We’re going to try to reach millions of people, Americans and people in other parts of the world, in order to mobilize an army of people who are going to demand action now on climate change sufficient to meet the challenge”.

Kerry has been an outspoken critic of the Trump administration’s environmental policies, calling them “profoundly dangerous” for the planet, and has repeatedly criticized the president’s removal of the U.S. from the 2016 Paris Agreement.

Kerry said “people are going to die” as a result of the U.S. no longer being a part of the Paris Accord.  “Future generations will measure us by whether we acted on facts, not just debated or denied them. The verdict will hang on whether we put in place policies that will drive the development and deployment of clean technologies, re-energize our economies, and tackle global climate change.” “My kids and my grandkids are going to face a difficult world because of what Donald Trump has done.”

President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accord in October as part of an election promise to voters, saying he was “elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris.” “In order to fulfill my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.”

Compliance with the accord could have cost the U.S. as much as 2.7 million lost jobs by 2025 based on estimates by the National Economic Research Associates, which also includes 440,000 fewer manufacturing jobs.

In addition to Kerry’s Charade, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will fly out Sunday with a large delegation of congressional Democrats to the United Nations COP25 climate change conference in Madrid.

Pelosi’s team claims it will seek to “reaffirm the commitment of the American people to combating the climate crisis” at the 2019 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The fact is that the Speaker of the House will represent nobody but herself and her party as she is prevented by law from conducting foreign policy or make any agreements with foreign leaders regarding sovereign treaties.

Speaker Pelosi said, “It is a privilege to accompany a high-level Congressional delegation to Spain to combat the existential threat of our time: the climate crisis.” “Taking action to protect our planet is a public health decision for clean air and clean water for our children, an economic decision for creating the green, good-paying jobs of the future, a national security decision to address resource competition and climate migration and also a moral decision to be good stewards of God’s creation and pass a sustainable, healthy planet to the next generation.”

Pelosi’s absence from Washington, DC, will cast doubt on the possibility of passing an updated North American trade deal by the end of 2019, a departure from her previous characterization of the deal as “imminent.”

House Speaker Pelosi has been a busy bee these days, helping to plot and execute a coup against a sitting president. In fact, you’d think the whole impeachment inquiry deal would keep her occupied.  She’s got plenty of time to cavort all around the globe with her colleagues in a trip to Spain to talk about climate change with the United Nations.

The problem with climate change is that there’s so much conflicting evidence out there and the left wants to ignore anything and everything that doesn’t help to push their agenda, which isn’t really saving the planet, but using this manufactured crisis as justification for grabbing more power and using regulation on businesses to redistribute wealth.

It’s sickening to see the great lengths these folks will go to in order to trample all over our rights. That is why it’s more important than ever to be skeptical about what we see every day on the Main Stream Media and to check sources for ourselves. The media has been infected by liberals to such a degree that you can’t trust anything that they report. The same applies to climate science.
